Today, Plastech is a full service facility offering new, rebuilt or repair screws and barrels in sizes designed to meet all of your needs. We have a full engineering department utilizing 3D CAD for our design, and our manufacturing capabilities range from multiple CNC centers to traditional machining and manufacturing tools. Plastech helps plastics processors increase material throughput, shorten cycle time, improve mixing of color and additives, and generally enhance product quality and plant productivity.
In addition, our self-developed bimetallic technology ensures excellent wear and corrosion resistance of screw and barrel. The service life is increased and machine downtime will be decreased, providing a better solution for processing highly filled or corrosive resins.
